Guys

Need some help.  My car has an intermittent erratic idle - from looking around the most common cause of this is a faulty PCV valve - can anyone advise the correct part number and more importantly which "revision" I should go for?  The one I have seen is "06F 129 101 N" ==> that the one to get?

Secondly, while we are here I want the diverter valve replaced as a precaution (car is 2006 model with 60k miles and is believed to have had a stage 1 remap at some point in its life - though we are not 100% sure!).   Is the G revision stock diverter valve the best one to go for?  Just want something reliable that will do the job! :)

Lastly, can anyone recommend any independent VW specialists or know any good mechanics who would be able to fit both items for me?   I am a total mechanical womble and located around the Twickenham area....

Thanks!!

Ash

Not sure about the PCV but as for the diverter valve the revision G is the best option. My car was losing a lot of boost and didnt feel right. Took the diverter out and had large cuts in the diaphraghm. Replaced with a Revision G diverter valve and car felt great.
