Got a 1.4 fsi mk5 with the known nox sensor issue.
Fault codes :
19498 : P3042 upper limit exceeded
17440 : P1032 upper limit exceeded
17479 : P1071 no signal/communication intermittent
I am pretty clued up in the ideas of nox and the common faults and recalls it had it recalled in 2008.
The ecu light used to come on every 300 miles exactly, then after 6 month it changed to 90 miles and now it's 40 miles. My question is are there anyways to bypass this or try fix the connection?
Secondly if left and the light keeps being turned off will this cause any damage long term?
