Some cars are 937's others are 980's think the change was around mid 2007

Yep, either the Bosch Aerotwin from eurocarparts with offer code or OEM from a dealer. Won't go wrong with either of them  :happy2:

After three failed attempts trying to get the correct ones from eurocarparts I thought I would try my local Skoda dealership. Both front aero wipers for £27 inc vat, so about £6 cheaper than ECP which is a result!

Yeah I found ECP site crap at finding the correct bosch wiper numbers, even phoned them up & was still confused on what front set I needed  :rolleye:
Got the bosch rear one from ECP ebay for £7.81 delivered, result.

They get replaced every year in the autumn.  I just buy whatever's easiest - internet, or Halfords if I'm passing.

I guess that qualifies as one of the least helpful reviews on this site - sorry.

Was toying with OEM from the dealer, but my rear wiper from there was crap from the off. It has always juddered and squeaked since it was brand new. Is that usual for the Golf?

Bosch all day long, do a search there's a billion posts on it... I'd also clay your glass before fitting new. :happy2:
