Room for a decent size catch can rather than the red bull sized BSH can.  Plus cleaner, tidier bay.

....Is that the only reason? - It doesn't seem worth the hassle, especially as a revision to a remap is tricky to get.

My solution was to sell my BSH and get a Forge Catch Tank which modifies the screenwash tank filler:

If you are that bothered by the appearance of the charcoal canister you can always dress it up with a cover.

The aluminium one by Forge costs ~£90 though. But if Show is your thing.................

Forge tank is too small for the TFSi imo.  Fills up with moisture too fast.  I'm running a larger Forge item now and it takes far far longer to require an empty.

I suppose if it really meant that much to you, you could always lengthen the pipe work to the canister and hide it under the O/S wheel arch liner plenty of room under there on the Golfs not sure about the Octavia though. would be an easy job with no MIL problems

Similar to how the US cars are as they have the canister at the back near the spare wheel well.  Easy enough to map out though.

....Too small? I only have to empty mine about every 6-8 weeks or so, depending on time of year.

So is this larger Forge item a new product? On release yet?

It's one I've pieced together.  Will get a pic.  In winter mine needs emptying every other week.

Suppose it depends on milage not time.... i would be emptying mine every other day.
