The APR car did the 60' in just over 1.9seconds, which is good for a fwd but rubbish for an AWD Car.

How much more to take your old Ibiza to 133mph and knock off another 1.6 seconds?

Once the ibiza got traction it would pull in the 4wd cars, but would only go past if there was more than a 1/4 mile to do so. Killed GTR's on the road.

Never had it on the dyno, but estimated it to be around the 440 bhp.  To get better times it would need drag slicks, the camber reducing from the - 3.5 it was running and 500bhp. The car weighed under a ton too.

To knock that 1.6 off with the FWD Alex would have had to drive off a cliff

This reminds me of their 'look how fast our MKV accelerates' video shot from the clocks perspective, which made them look equally stupid once someone pointed out a MKV isn't geared to do 90 in second.

They claimed they had an early car with a different gearbox. The Internet collectively called them a bunch of dickheads and walked away.

Guys you need to prove APR wrong before you go throwing accusations about. 

Dont forget they have a world renowned Graveyard in Milton Keynes.

Im not jealous as  I can get to work and back all week on £20 He cant
  I can do 10s alllll day long and hit 60 without all that noise and smokey stuff coming ouit the back

It wasn't that I doubt a FWD car could do 10's, it was the fact that they were claiming it as being done on a stage 3+ car, which with terminals of 133mph it clearly isn't!

Still wouldn't get a 133mph terminal though! May get low 11's.

Or are we now saying APR can tune a MKVI FWD with a smaller turbo that is as fast as their stage 4 fully built 4WD TTRS with DSG and get faster terminals with 150-200bhp less power!!

Oh and just 0.1seconds slower than their 600+bhp, fully built Golf R Stage 4 that is apparently still 5mph slower than the stage 3+ FWD GTI at the end of the strip!!

There are no stage 4 TTRS DSG cars. If there was I reckon it would do 9's.
