Wiring to Switched Live
« on: December 24, 2013, 11:48:52 am »
Hi All,

I am about to try this on my golf today until I get around to purchasing a new CAN to fix battery drain.

Has anyone else tried this and worked?

Thanks Guys,

Bloody Maplin's closed early today as it is Christmas Eve. How inconsiderate of them    so will have to wait until Friday to get the bits  :sad1:

But hopefully will work once I have done it as I usually mess things up

Okay so a bit of an issue.

Came out this morning and car would not start. Was ticking over but would start but unlike my battery drain before. Found it was the 20amp fuse I unplugged from f14 to wire my jumper cable into. Put it back and started fine. Problem is I have checked all other vacant fuse locations and none are switched live.

How do I check where the rest of the switched live locations are and also how do I find out about what the current fuses i. There are for?

So looked in the manual but does not seem to make too much sense.

Anyone know the layout of what fuse locations are for what in a 1.4 TSI 170
