Colour change vinyl wrap
« on: December 28, 2013, 08:18:00 pm »
Anyone done this ? Anyone recommend anyone in the NW ? How much did it cost ?

I'm looking at changing colour from red to white with carbon mirrors and rear spoiler.

For me it was £160. This included the roof, mirrors and front and back badge. There prices say that they charge £100 for the roof and £50 for the mirrors but it depends you might be able to get a cheaper price. If you have instagram by any chance you can check out some of there work

Auto-Pro Motorsport or APM in Chester have wrapped a couple of my friends cars.

Can find them on facebook, the owner Kev is very helpful.

^^^^^^^This.

I know Monte very well and also Adi who owns Deep Shine Details (Lincoln.) These guy's have been doing some excellent wrapping over the past year. ....so much so that people are now coming to them to remove previously applied vinyl and getting their cars re-wrapped by them.

Having seen lots of their work first hand I can honestly say it's amazing.....so much so that I'm letting them loose on my Cupra as soon as I can decide on a colour! :happy2:

APM quoted me £1050 + Vodka  :scared:

Sorry but that's crazy money. Thats not far off a proper respray.

That's the going rate I'm afraid £1000+vat (golf size)

If you are comparing it to a full respray then maybe vinyl is not for you.

Many customers want a vinyl wrap for their show car, and some of these guys will pay £3-4k+ for a paint job.  :surprised:
These are the people that see a wrap as cost effective. They like the idea of it being as temporary or as permanent as they want.
Some colour change every year.

The vinyl will protect the paint too.....if fitted correctly
