£7.2 k is bonkers cheap

I paid nearly 11k for a 42k 07 ed30 4 months ago which sounds a fortune compared to 7.2k

The car is spot on and is tight and we are very happy with it

You get what you pay for is what i have learnt to my expense with cars in the past

Now i am super fussy

they pakistanis by any chance

andy a = How is this even relevant?
When was the last time you said, "I'm not racist, but.....?"

I'm confused, genuinely and not taking the p*ss but how do 'Cat D' and 'Perfect' go together?

Asking if the garage is Pakistani owned is relevant whilst identifying the garage being that it is.

Imagine whilst in Spain someone said the "English garage" would someone bother to claim racism?

To be fair, I'm of non-English descent  and it's the first question that came to mind.

After looking at all the cars for sale on the website.........

Reminds me of another sales place in west yorkshire .. Seemingly cheap cars good specifications

Do not expect perfect cars for bottom dollar, this is no wheeler dealers

I've been looking at some cars at Keighley Trade Centre, sent them a few emails regarding mileage which wasn't shown on the adverts, got no answer, so that told me all I needed to know really.

There are a few reasonable cars in there, but many questionable ones. Many are high milers ex reps cars & many have certain markers on them with a number of owners.  :signLOL:

Sarcasm for free. Anything after that can only be considered as a bonus.

Just because you think you know something, doesn't make you an expert if you've just read it on the internet, y'know.

I went to look at the 1.9 TDI sport which is on there website still! Was terrible condition inside (stains all on the seats it looked like they hadn't even cleaned it) and staff weren't very helpful either.

Wouldn't buy anything from this garage

My car gets looked after by Sytner VW Knaresborough, although I'm just moving it to Sytner VW Leeds. The Sytner Select website is stocked from trade ins and oddballs which don't sell through the main dealers group. So if stuff is too old to retail on the forecourt or too high mileage etc. it gets farmed off through the select avenue. I keep an eye on that website as well, but finding just the right car is a long job. Took me 18 months to find the car I currently have and it's now been with us for 2 years. I'm looking now for something to replace it based on finding the right one in about a years time.

French?

 :signLOL:

It's all very well and good saying that but it is kind of a bit racist to assume that they're dodgy because they're Afghani. We've all seen Rouge Traders but come on... in this day and age ANY person would sell a dodgy car, not just people who are from certain areas.

It's the real world fellas and if you are naive enough when you walk into a "dealership" you are going to get stung. If you walk in with you eyes open, listen to the patter, body language etc, you aren't.

When I get an email in my junk filter from Nigeria, i don't open it because I'm racist, it's because if the Crown Prince of Lagos wants to rest £5,000,000 in my bank account, I'd rather decline the offer.

Which has nothing to do with their country of origin???

You can call it the "real world" if you want, real world is being buyer-savvy. Doesn't excuse racism.
