Cornwall/Devon Cambelt Change

Hi All,

Dont really want to take the car to a normal garage, and there is a slight lack of VW specialists down here. I have contacted a few local places and awaiting quotes. But thought worth asking here to. Just want someone who wants to do a proper job, not really interested in half hearted "that'll do" approaches. As if the jobs worth doing its worth doing right.

Anyone who is familiar with MK5 Golfs who wants to do a Cambelt and water pump change on my MK5 2.0 GT TDI BKD engine? Please PM me :)

Also any recommendations of places I may not have found through the search and google are welcomed.

Matt at Volkscraft in Exeter did my mk5 cam belt etc a good few years ago

I second Volkscraft..had my camshaft, cam follower and DV done there last year. Great service and very reasonable.  Have used Volks city in the past for servicing etc and found them pretty good also.
