Mediocrity
« on: December 30, 2013, 08:49:11 pm »
If there's on thing I can't stand it's mediocrity. I've been sat next some a chap for 6 weeks who just cannot be f*cking arsed to do his job to an acceptable level. What is it with these people? Either do your job or f*ck off home!!!

TBH with you I've felt the same way to the point of thinking of quitting. Maybe my standards and expectations of everyone else is too high?

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

People in my work place that just do a sub standard job, Know they are doing a sub standard job and joke about it. When i offer to help them better their knowledge they turn the offer down because the sub standard job is still getting them paid.

Makes my blood boil to the point where i have to repeat over and over don't get involved, don't get involved, don't get involved when they are about to majorly f*ck up.

Reminds me of a quote from the great Homer Simpson:

"Lisa, if you don't like your job you don't strike. You just go in every day and do it really half-assed. That's the American way"
