If you can remove a wheel / arch liner you can do the DV on K03... if you're able to open a bonnet you can do the DV on K04 :happy2:

If doing K03, wear some gloves if you've driven the car any distance as the Turb gets silly hot.

Its not difficult to do, but would be extremely satisfying if you did it yourself  :happy2:

There are how-to guides and videos all voer the internet - a search on youtube turned up lots of videos.

If you really dont feel confident go to your local TRUSTED garage (doesnt have to be VW or even a specialist- its not a hard job to do)

Take this guide:
http://www.deutscheautoparts.com/newsarticle.aspx?NID=18

and they should have it done in 15mins EASY. As for howmuch - your best getting a quote from your garage as rates vary. Not going to be much for a quick 15min job.

So you can reach it from the wheelarch can you? Is that easier than from underneath the car? I have a new one to put on mine asap.

I did mine without removing the wheel and arch liner it's a bit more fidly but I didnt have the time to go all out, just lock the wheel left and there's enough room to get around it all
