I'd persevere and try to find a bodyshop that will repair it. Looks to me like a bit of plastic welding and a quick fill, paint and done. I would avoid the bigger bodyshops as they probably won't want to look at it as their mainstay is insurance work , and if they did they'd charge to a small fortune . Find a smaller bodyshop , ask around friends with nice cars who care about them. Chances are someone will recommend someone they trust. Ask to look at some of their work too.
I wouldn't go paying the best part of £4-500 to replace it.
