What tyres you running, nankangs ditchfinders?

Get some Semi Slicks on there and wave bye bye to wheel spin. Awesome in the dry and if you get a decent semi slick they are great in the wet as well.  I have ran the 595 RS-Rs in some pretty extreme wet weather trackdays where many cars on road tyres were serverely struggling and was blown away by how well they performed.

If you want big power in a fwd car you have toaccept you need very grippy tyres that wont last a huge amount of time.
Michelin PS3's.
I'm gonna to try Good year F1s next, semi slicks wear too quick.

I wouldn't do over 300bhp again in a fwd. Admittedly it is fun, but over 350bhp the car ends up going slower over a 1/4 mile unless you do a cage and slicks.
A cage?  Not really going to help in a straight line

Who does a 1/4 mile???  :P

On track over 350 in a fwd really makes it fun to do track days, you have to use your head to get the best but no trouble in getting the power down with the right tyres.  :happy2:

Over the top mod list ;o)

Agreed. How a car performs up the strip is irrelevant to anything other than the traffic light gram prix.
I still think 300-330hp is the optimum though

But you have to run a cage if you run slicks on at the Pod - rulez iz rulez.

I love the new power...even on Sumitomo HTR ZIII's
I just went from 0 to 120 mph in 13.3 seconds with the new tune...down from 15.8 seconds w/giac  :happy2:
Granted, to avoid wheel spin I cannot give it full throttle until 50 to 55 mph...

Big power on a FWD car is obviously going be difficult at times but when you get that big stupid grin on your face it's worth it.

Not sure but I have 360BHP mapped by r tech and even of the line I get very slight wheelspin and its off, not sure about 0-60 though, also for the bends I have eibscj lowering springs and rear anti roll bar it is excellent in the bends.
What tyres you using up front? Also got to say ever since changing all my bushes to poly at the front has made the biggest difference

So far...I run my Sumitomo HTR ZIII. I was nearing the point of new bushings, but some off-road damage caused me to replace them all under a claim with the Ins. Co..
I was planning to use a Whiteline bush kit...got any other suggestions available in the US?
