Washers and levelers are not a part of the MOT!

Still eagerly awaiting TT's reply to this  :signLOL:

:congrats: Horsesh*t all you you like  :booty:
im not burying my f*cking head in the sand so how about you give your advice with less of the im a dick attitude!  :stupid:
If you are correct then well done but it still makes no difference to what I said. Washers and levelers are not a part of the MOT! If they are adjusted correctly you will pass! And the comment of the hids in halogen housing was to show that police will rarely stop them with these let alone correctly adjusted VW ones.

Correct... my mate passed MOT without Washers and Levelers

As has already been said, an MOT is not a test of the legality of your car, its merely a road worthiness test.

Hi Zub Rich,

Full Beam and Dipped Main Beam are seperate H7 Bulbs, to be honest its not really worth chaning the full Beam, but the dipped makes a big diference.

I would upgrade your sidelights (5W) to Osram's or Philipps too as your standard ones will look very yellow against the Night Breakers, there was a post on the same subject earlier in the week too,

Rich

Are you sure main is not an H1 bulb?

Don't want to stir it up more here , but I can remember reading that Xenons have washers because the light they produce deteriates more than halogen light when they get dirty.  I think that , strictly,  they are not legal without the means to clean them and keep the required lighting. With the MoT , its probably the case that its just not enforced properly. Is it a case of the tester thinking "if its not on the car, it doesn't need testing" ?
