Revo Stage 1 with DSG
« on: September 23, 2009, 11:56:57 pm »
Quick question guys.. With revo stage 1 & dsg do you get a slight pause when changing gears? Reason I ask is that I have been doing some research & phil on here this problem when going to stage 1 bluefin.. Think it's something to do with the dsg box not expecting that ammount of torque. Phil managed to get it sorted in the end as superchips sent him a new map & the problem went away.

Just wondering if the same issue effects revo?

Hi mate, I had Revo stage 1 on my Ed30 and had no problems what so ever. Went Stage 2 and started to get a slight pause about a second after the change. BUT that was soon sorted..
Revo + DSG is a serious weapon..  :happy2:

Manual map was supplied instead of dsg map, hense why i had this horrid pause. Stage 1 bluefin i can safely say, has no pause whatsoever. :happy2:

I have Revo Stage 1 with S-Tronic which is essentially the same as DSG on the S3 and have had no such problems, the changes are smooth as silk!  Can't recommend Revo enough  :happy2:
