Urgent help needed
« on: January 10, 2014, 06:53:44 pm »
Just about to put my new engine in my car after swapping all the bits over but when I bought the car I was told it had an audi s3 boost thrust sensor ... But have no idea where it is or what it looks like ? It was mapped with it on so would like to put it back on, can anyone shed any light for me ?

I suspect it's the boost sensor on the throttle body pipe you are talking about. If you look at the IC hose on the lower right of the car (when looking at the engine), follow it towards the throttle body and you will see the piping has a sensor on it.
Without traction power is nothing!

What inlet manifold are you using too?

Boost sensor is as Ayoub says, the map sensor on the tb pipe.  Use your old one.  You will also need to use your old high pressure fuel sensor that is on the fuel rail.
