ABS and ESP warning lights.
« on: January 11, 2014, 05:12:55 pm »
Had an intermittant fault on my 04 GT TDI where the ABS and ESP lights come on whilst driving. It happens once every 3 weeks or so. Anyone else experienced this? Google shows some others who have reported similar problems, just wondering if anyone on here had the same problem?

Scan the car....
Always first port of call for sensor related issues.
Internet is a scary place avoid it to be honest.
Be a sensor or faulty wiring.

Had it on the daughters Beetle recently, a scan revealed a fault on the nearside front ABS sensor and/or wring. Sensor replacement fixed it for me.

As said, scan it and find out.
Sarcasm for free. Anything after that can only be considered as a bonus.

Just because you think you know something, doesn't make you an expert if you've just read it on the internet, y'know.
