I think I would probably go for a black dial Daytona, I made the mistake of looking at the vintage Daytonas when walking through the Burlington Arcade in London, but they are way out of my budget but they were gorgeous. We have a jewellers in town that deals in secondhand watches and he has a 1995 Daytona which has a white dial but accents of black around the chronograph which is very tasty!

I have been waiting 3 1/2 years on a list for a white Daytona, but my interest is beginning to be lost.

I might just stick with what i have and save the cash.

I know what you mean, although they should now be a little more readily available. I popped into my jewellers today and they said if I'm serious they could probably get me one within 3-6 months! But then I have spent a fair bit with them over recent years, then they tend to look after you better. :happy2:

Pretty gutted as my 3 week old Seamaster's date functioned has stuck between two dates and refuses to budge!!  :fighting: Going to lose it for at least 4 weeks which I'm not happy about!!  :sad1:

Minor update - Omega state £370 is the actual cost to replace the Crown . So not so bad !

It'll most likely be the thread on the tube thats gone than the crown tbh. Genuine tubes are quite cheap from Cousins UK, if it was my watch I'd do it myself!
