« on: January 11, 2014, 10:32:21 pm »
Hi all

New on this forum, due to the purchase of the GTI

After searching around on here I have come across quite a few mods that I have installed already, I'm just wondering if you have anymore ideas

Or any other advise regarding anything to do with the car

I have a 2006 GTI manual, I have upgraded from a 6n2 polo GTI. Big step up!

Good job I work a VW, makes it a lot easier

Stage 1 remap
K&n Panel filter
New diverted valve
New PVC valve
New fuel pump cam follower
Major service
Cambelt and water pump
Retro parking sensors
Retro armrest with sliding cup holder
Retro rear footwell lights

Retro door puddle lights
Retro cruise control
Retro vw kenwood system
Full led interior
Led number plate units
Pressed number plates
Gti carpet mats
Rubber mats
Load liner
Luggage net
Mudflaps (wasn't sure at first)

Wanting:

Had no issues with standard breaks and I am revo stage 2. Guess it depends how you drive the car.

I find the new standard pads and discs including brake fluid change ok to be fair, not sure what route go down regarding lowering. Had coilovers on my polo but found the ride to hard, any suggestions?

I have seen some apex springs from awesome GTI, any good?
