ok heres a update.
Yesterday got the car back from the bodyshop with a freshly painted front bumper. The old one was stone chipped pretty badly. Had to get the bodyshop to do it twice though as the first effort was terrible. Now its good as new.
Then when I got home I had this waiting for me! ITG CAI
And heres a pic of all the bits on my kitchen floor
Anyway went about fitting it in the dark, ended up snapping a jubilee clip so had to quickly run to b n q to get a new one.
Here it is all fitted.
And one in the day light
The quality of the kit is amazing.
Anyway onto the important bit! How it sounds!
It really is rather noisy, turns heads and all that, but people seem to like it. Had a man asking me about the car as he was curious as it sounded like a "beast".
Car is alot more responsive and holds the power further up the revs now. However I think my standard DV needs replacing now as it seems to be struggling to keep up. Also seem to have a slight slat spot at about 5.2k revs but the ecu still needs to adapt so hopefully that will go away.
And here are the vids.
For comparisons sake firstly a vid with the engine cover.
Then a vid with the ITG intake.
And another video with the ITG but bonnet down.
Might get some drive by vids later tonight
