Well i personally think the Seat Leon looks ALOT nicer in the flesh. Apart from those hideous rear clusters  they are a VERY nice looking motor  :happy2:

We choose what we choose for our own reasons. I bought the Edition30 because i have always liked Golfs and to me the MK5 GTi is the perfect car. To get a Limited Edition was a Bonus!

I might have considered a SEAT Cupra, if the price was right, but only because they are basically a VW.

I must say i LOVED the SEAT advert on the telly  That Salesman!

Anyway, Whats this BlueFlame exhaust like? How do they compare to others like Milltek, APR???

How is it producing 360bhp with stage 2 and no upgraded fuel pump?  :surprised:

Highline figures are still there with stg2. Pump will just give more mid range and torque increase, shouldn't affect top end hp greatly. Mine saw 360 before the pump.

Nice one  :congrats:. My Remus dual output back box sounded like it wanted to explode after mating a milly dp on my first mk2. Gave good gains tho.  :driver:

New Plugs

For those who havent been following my troubleshooting thread, this is my first step in trying to solve it myself.

NGK IRIDIUM IX spark plugs - BKR7EIX, One step colder than stock.

Condition of the old plugs after 9000miles/9 months

Old vs New

Got my new custom discs fitted today after I managed to ruin the old ones after 9 months and 9,000 miles. Learnt the expensive way that the cupra doesnt have brake wear sensors  :fighting:

They have 8 grooves in them, After plenty of research and confusion, I finally got hold of something that I was happy with.

Heres a pic of the old pads.

And now the new discs

I have seen grooved discs fitted both ways, but my logic says that fitting them with the groove the other way than yours clean the pads more agressively, or am i wrong??   Daveb???

Over the top mod list ;o)

The logical way for fitting was the way we done them as in the pic, i dont think the other way round would work too well, suppose if pov has brake troubles we could try swapping em round.. its a 10 min job now we have done it once lol

The discs need to fitted fitted not according to the grooves, but according to the cooling vanes inside the discs!
