PCV / Coils / Plugs / MAF / TB

Personally, I would scan it to see if there's a misfire recorded and which bank.

I'd check the plug gaps and perhaps replace if due.

Definitely look at swapping the PCV and go from there.

A Misfire not potentially caused by faulty plugs or coils...

Doesnt sound like a misfire to me.

Also, when my TB was dieing, it did exactly the same as in that video, revs up and down at idle.. Replaced it and no issues... Never touched the PCV, idles perfectly.

It's most likely the PCV has broken but its not always the same issue.

Exactly the same as what I had, sometimes it would do it and others it wouldn't. It's the pcv, change it and it'll be fine.

Cheers Eddie, at least someone else agrees... :innocent:

I think everyone agrees it could be the PCV Steve... except for perhaps the OP, lol.

Do it do it do it

Still think itd pcv ok will get 1 sorted in the week.
Doesnt seem down on power tho and only does it when warm.
Also coolant temp gauge seems to take longer to get upto temp and also drops up and down quite a bit

Not pcv but looks like engine temp sensore right side of engine. When unplugged the hunting and rough idle stopped.
Also threw up a intake leak code after we unplugged the temp sensor??

Have you actually replaced the PCV yet ?

Don't forget, by disconnecting items, will throw up fauts in other areas that may not be directly connected to the faulty item.

Remember the PCV is not electrical and will not show as fault if your using VCDS!!!
