Oh no, gutted for you   :sad1:

The second coolant pipe screw was about 2 inch to the right of the first behind some wiring loom.  :fighting:

At least you gave it a good effort  :happy2:

Yeah it was frustrating even after reading your tip and knowing roughly where it was couldn't locate it. Lost my appetite for it  at that point too.

Can see why you took the stat off with the lower pipe mine was stuck fast too.

Not all bad though as I reckon getting to the same point again would take me well less than half the time and it's all experience.
