Replacing headlights
« on: January 19, 2014, 02:08:01 am »
I'm looking at replacing my headlights, as I'm getting condensation inside now

It's an 05 Golf GTI

I'm looking at the left and right ones here as a like for like switch:

http://www.eurocarparts.com/ecp/c/Volkswagen_Golf_2.0_2005/p/car-parts/car-electrics-and-car-lighting/lighting1/headlight/?471443300&1&4ed29d79d72092c7a5020d874c4c98308a6ca811&000176

Looking at other threads here, they seem to be the right ones, but I was wondering about fitting etc, are they basically plug and play or so I need to spend some time removing and installing them?

Thanks!

They will be plug and play. Removing the bumper is pretty easy and the whole job shouldn't take more than 90 minutes including a couple of cups of tea.
