facelift?

What year did the facelift cars come out?
140 GT, Steel grey, smoothed R32 rear, GTI front with all black US grill, DRL's, ED30 interior, GTI pedal set, 18" Monzas, GTI headlights and R32 rear lights

You are going to have to more specific - do you mean the GT sport where the bumper changed or did you mean when the mk6 came out, which used the mk5 platform?
VCDS cable HEX-USB+CAN. New but can do the basics including coding

They released the face lift model early 2006.

So if I was to buy a 04 plate, would it be difficult to put on a gti front bumper in order to upgrade it?   I have read something about trimming the bumper to fit, would this be difficult?  Thanks to everyone for taking the time to reply.

No it is simple to do, see my sig with a genuine bumper trimmed on a 55 plate (blue car). You cut away a part hidden by the upper grille.

I had an Xparts replica bumper for a bit, my advice is stick with genuine only.
Used to have Edition 30 - number 009 and a GT TDI 140.
Now have an S4 B8 Avant (stage 2)
