Brake heat shield

Mines is loose and rattling. Is it ok to run without or should I buy a replacement

I don't think they are essential. They are only pretty cheap to replace though. I just got new front ones for about £9 each.

Is that front or rear?

I'll just buy a new one. Did u get it from Vw?

My Indy fitted them and they would have used TPS. I also painted them first because my original ones had almost completely rusted off!
