I recently fitted a mk5 r32 bumper for my gti, I took it to a place to get a qoute for a pipe to replace the gti backbox, the guy said he will have to bed the slam panel out of the way which doesnt seem right to me, I had the lower cover off of the bumper at the time is this why the panel was on show? Also any help towards fabricating a pipe would be helpful as im going to do it myself as rhe garage wanted £200!
