New Car :D
« on: January 24, 2014, 04:30:46 pm »
Finally got a new car and very happy :) only one thing its abit off a shock going from a diesel ..(150 miles off half a tank :) and 95 off them was doing 60 on the way back from Cambridgeshire! ha)

Here are few details..
The colour is metallic  Steel Grey
75000 miles on the clock
11 months mot (no recommendations) all MOT's included with full service history
5 months tax
Tartan cloth Recaro interior( no tears)
6 Speed Manual Gearbox
Climate Control (Dualzone)

The following work has been completed on the car by the UK's best VAG Specialist TTS Roadsport

Comprehensive Cambelt Change including water pump
Full Main service
Aircon regas
Milltek non resonated exhaust system, cat back
Piper Cross panel filter
Stage 2 revo remap around 260ish on 95 on shell shell about 270 i think
Eibach Sports Springs lowered 25mm
BBS VZ  Anthracite alloys  18x8 with Goodyear f1 asymmetric 2 tyres 225/40R18 92Y (only covered about 3000 miles totally uncurbed and as new)
Superpro Wishbone and engine mount Poly bushes
Laser wheel and suspension alignment

Mods i want soon:
Armrest
Ipod connector
Back bumper colour coding or maybe edition 30?
Sat nav headunit
Cruise control
Upgraded speakers
Anyone got any more essentials?

Future mods
heated seats
xenon headlights

Something i really want asap instead off buying an fm transmitter is the iPod connectivity ,, what parts do i need and how much does it tend to cost?
also an arm rest :)

If anyone can suggest were to get the other bits or average prices will b greately appreciated!!

Thanks

Lovely looking new motor you got there :happy2:

For iPod connectivity you could get a genuine VW iPod kit that plugs into the back of a standard head unit and then you could bring the iPod connector throughout the glovebox like i have or find somewhere else to bring it through depending on what you prefer.. You can pick them up for less than £50 on ebay just keep an eye out and it would do you until you maybe decide to get the glovebox and possible the kit that goes in the glovebox..
