VW 504 507 spec is the vital bit!

Only if you are sticking with the stock longlife 5w30.  If the car is out of warranty then you can use a better oil.

These engines suffer from burning oil when tuned and using longlife.  I switch 90% of the cars over to the millers nanodrive and they run smoother and don't burn oil.

Alex, im currently run a bog standard Ed30 and do approx 6k a year. I use Castrol Edge 5w30. I have the oil and filter changed every 6 months. Any real life benefit of me moving onto the Millers Nano drive? If i only changed out the oil once a year at service time, the cost is about the same as what i pay now.

Would be interesting to hear your views..

Thanks

Rich

Another + for the Millers 5w40 nano. Mine uses hardly a drop of oil and has reduced fuel pump follower wear to almost zero.

Either use stock box oil, or millers crx 75 w 90 nt.  I use the millers on cars that crunch and it cures them.

Yup since running the Nanodrive mine feels a lil smoother and doesn't seem to be burning as much over Castrol Edge I was using before.

I'm currently useing castrol edge 5w30 seems ok so would it be worth the swap? Il goto be for the gear box oil then yea?  What about filters I prefer to stick to genuine parts but is there any cheaper you would recommend?
