A day I wish I left the Golf at home - Another wheel kerbed!
« on: September 27, 2009, 07:03:29 pm »
Right pi**ed off, went out for the day in ED30, used a usual car park I always do as its a straight in from the barrier type of car park, but today this barrier was not working. You had to put the car through a chicane to get to the other barrier.

Scraaaaape, **llocks.

And just to cap the day off a centre cap out of a front wheel has departed company from the vehicle, the clips remain behind in the wheel!

Too much power for the caps?

Anyway any ideas on the size I need for centre caps and are the ones on fleabay any good?

Must be one of THE WORST  feelings on your hands on the steering wheel!!. You feel every notch and its gutt wrenching.

Unsure on the VW centre's. I wouldnt of thought they wouldn't be very expensive from your stealer, whether they are a different size to other BBS Vw wheels i dont know either.

A nice graphite colour I think.

I've had that. Thankfully, I can at least say none of the kerbing on my pescaras have been from parking attempts. They're all either because of me dodging another muppet, or from going round a corner too fast and understeering and then paying for it with overcorrection.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.
