Cars going in on Wed to vw Southend should I ask then to change it under warranty?

Doubt they will do it under warranty. They prob wont even know what you are on about, or try and charge you a fortune.

Any good specialist should be able to do it for you. Part is around 30.50 and is 30mins labour tops.

If southend are anything like Chelmsford then as Alex said they won't know what your talkin about. To dealers if its not on the service plan then it never needs doing for the life of the vehicle, and in their opinion the life of a vehicle is only 7 years.

Mine was perfectly ok at 117K so its up to you. Its a cheap part but a bit fiddly to change if you have the banjo bolt.

Thanks for the help everyone, at the moment I do not have a m8 tripe square bit so I cannot even get to the Bolt, I might just buy a replacement fuel pump and have done with it.
