Cheers for the comments guys.
To answer a few questions in no particular order:
Lowering, maybe, but not just yet. Might go for a gentle drop sometime in the future.
The wheels, well I wasn't too sure whether they'd suit the car before I put them on. They do look smaller on the mk6 than they did on the mk5 and the rear arches of the mk6 must be wider than the old car too as they sat pretty flush on the mk5 but sit in slightly on the newer car. They look better in the flesh than in the pictures but I may well change them in the future for some Monzas. Mostly because Monzas are easier to clean! At least with some different wheels to standard the car attracts a bit of attention and people don't immediately think it's a company car.
Yes, it did come with 17s. I wanted a pretty standard car so that I could upgrade bits over time as finances allow. I would have happily got one with 18'' Shadows and sold on the BBS but got the best deal on this one.

Yep, I've seen the printouts of Gossa's on REVO's site. Pretty impressive for a K03.  :pomppomp:
I'm hoping to get mine done and on the rollers in November  Hopefully we'll see how the figures compare on a different car and set of rollers. Dyno lottery time!

Time for a bit of an update I guess, the wheels have now gone from the VZ033s to Black Detroits for the winter at least (not sure whether to keep the BBSs or not as they looked perfect on the mk5 but not so sure about on the mk6).
Oh, and the car made 260bhp on the rollers at TSR last month with the Revo stg1, 299lb ft of torque.

Thanks for the comments guys. Definately agree with it looks like it needs a drop now, maybe some Eibach springs next year(?).
And Greenouse, I think I'll follow the lead you did with your Black Detroits and add some spacers, the width and offset difference from the BBSs makes it look a bit narrow now. Another job for the new year.....

And now for yet another set of alloys!
Believe it or not this is now the fifth set I've had for this car and I've only had it since September (this figure includes the set of Monzas it came with and some Monza IIs I bought and never fitted!)

Anyway, here's a set of genuine Scirocco Interlagos I picked up brand new, pic taken from the same angle as the last couple to show the differences in styles off:

8 inch wide with 41mm offset means no spacers required!
