Servicing
« on: January 29, 2014, 04:35:22 pm »
Service warning notice has appeared for first time since I've owned the car,  would it just be a standard oil/filter change needed?  And is it worth seeing how much the stealers want or would an independant be better?

Which service is due, minor or major? Look in your book.

Have a butchers for an Indy VAG specialised near to you or go VW main dealer.

It be a good idea on where you located in the uk so maybe someone on the forum can recommend a good indie, that's if you don't want to go to the main dealers

I've got a couple of options garage wise, one where used to take prev car all the time or use another one which is a vw specialist.  Looking at the book, only the pollen filter was changed last time.   So I am thinking that oil and filters service wise, not sure about changing plugs.  Christ I sound a right newbie to vw's!!!
