Switching off highline
« on: September 28, 2009, 09:11:12 pm »
I know you can switch off the highline by going into the menu settings, but is there a shortcut way of doing it quicker. A mate of mine has an Audi TT and with a single push  of the button on the wiper stalk you can switch it off.

Its just that in the night I find it a bit distracting and to go through the menu each time to switch it on or off is a pain and you can only do it when stationary.

And no I don't want to sell it..........

Turn it off by holding the toggle button on the wiper stalk either up or down entering the menu page, at the bottom of the list of options is display off, press ok, job done.

To turn on just press either direction on the toggle button on the wiper stalk.

Just what I was going to ask as I didn't think you could have Highline without a MFSW?

You can.

Highline was a £55 option on its own on my MY car. Well worth it.

You would disable the display the same way with MFSW as you would without. My old Leon had both and that was the case there anyway.

If you look at my photo above you see a big multi function computer, that its if you don't have it you have a screen half the size.
