Well... youd need to sand them to get rid of the texture.. but yes it would still work out cheaper!  :happy2:

I think you should leave them textured, wouldn't see the difference either way!  :booty:

I would!  :P

Gti skirts are black textured and have 2 jacking point arrows/markers and have the vertical line about 10 inches from the rear.

R32 and ed30 skirts come smoothed in primer with non of the above markings.

There easy to sand, fill and have colour coded so they look like ed30/R32 skirts.

I did mine myself, it's that easy!

Rear tabs can't be fixed AFAIK. One of mine broke and had a quote to replace it. Pissed myself laughing when they told me the price.

As long as the other fixing points are ok you'll be fine. Each skirt is held on by a bracket, screws and some tape stuff.

 :happy2:

I managed to remake one of my broken tab

Both skirts were removed when I wrapped my car and I noticed that one tab was broken.

I used the other skirt as a reference to remake a new tab.

All I used was a Red Bull Ring pull   :star:

This was perfect in every way. I was able to shape the ring pull exactly with pliers and it was bonded onto the skirt using mega strong loctite 2part adhesive.

When dry u then covered the whole new Ring Pull tab with grey Heat Shrink sleeving.

This was a 10/10 success if I do say so myself

(Probably stronger than the original tab)

If I get chance I'll take some pics, and I'll find out the glue I used  :happy2:

Redbull ring pulls are perfect though. Just a bit of a bend and trim and it's great
