Full respray Vs full Wrap - costs?
« on: March 15, 2014, 09:18:36 am »
I'm possibly toying with the idea of buying a little project later on in the year, currently on the list are S2 RS Turbo, Mk5 RS2000 or a Mk2 Gti 16V. I've already seen a few of cars that could be contenders all of which would need a full respray to get to my standard but also needing quite a bit of mechanical sorting out.

What I want to know is -
1. Roughly how much would I expect to pay for a decent quality full respray nowadays?
2. Also is it considerably cheaper to get a car fully wrapped instead? my thoughts are that I could get the car wrapped which would then give me the time and money to spend sorting/improving any mechanics and then look at proper paint job later on.

Laser Blue 3dr No 209683, Leather, Monza II's and a few other goodies...........GONE but not forgotten......now in an A4 S-Line Avant 170tdi......god I miss the Gti.
