IIII personally wouldnt call it a review...more just a look at. but the golf r sounds good. :popcornsoda:

still not feeling the mk7 looks.. they will never better the mk5 and especially the mk6 R for looks

The video sounds like the guy is eating at some points I noticed that as the cars both don't appeal in anyway I think they look far to modern and spaceship like

Under bonnet sounds like a stock 2.0 TFSI in a GTI IMHO.  Why is everyone so shocked? It's a direct injection VW engine. . . :laugh:

Exhaust note has potential. Aftermarket should make it deeper and make the pops louder  :drool:

In a few years i think people will have got use to the MK7 looks and like it more but for now i think the MK6 and even the MK5 still has most people's votes.

MK7 rear lights also look a bit like VW have spent their dinner break over at Audi..

MK6 R has my vote still.. for now :smiley:

+2, doesnt look great imo. Saw a mk7 GTI on the way down the m1 this morning. Didn't appeal at all.

The mk6 R though...  :drool:

I do like the mk7 however it would need some BCS treatment.
