Little help on a left over part :)

Hello guys!

So i've been working on a project on my MK5 GTI from 2005 :) Done some repairs and for that I had to remove most of the parts on the drivers site.

Now I'm trying to put everything back together. However I have some sort of support bracket with partnumber 1K1 721 983 E left to be assembled. I just can't find any place to put it back to.

I've looked in Elsa, and could not find any use for it. Also looked in ETKA, but the image of that bracket is totally different than mine is.



Thats how mine looks like.

Hopefully somebody can help me out how I should assemble this into my car. Pictures of your footwell with this part would be even greater!!

Thats the same image as Etka's and it looks pretty different than mine.

The shape is different aswell.

I have looked all around the brake pedal but I just can't seem to find it
