For years now, we wait and wait...They keep telling some of us that, yes. And others, if we add stronger rods. Some have added stronger rods and others keep waiting and asking. But no FSI map offered yet. This is why I went over to DM for a new tune....mostly because of the new interest they took into the FSI motor.

Already went through years waiting on Austin, Ilie, and others at GIAC to deliver and they still have not shown continued interest.

I don't know if Statller have any saved data on the extreme K04 tune, but I don't anymore. It was on my old, old PC. I will ask Steve Jr if he will share his info if he has the block data you want though.

A question about GIAC Extreme...
I am about to upgrade to Extreme map on my ED30...
BUT, my closest giac dealer says I must change my BSH True Seal intake kit for a CTS/GIAC 3" intake (they are making copies of the old VF intake with CTS) and change my S3 intercooler for an Eurojet one...
Are these MUST DO´s or SHOULD DO´s?!
What about twininterccoler, my dealer said it´s crap and poor quality....?!
Are there any others intakes that works with extreme map?
If it matters I live in Sweden so not the warmest country....
Help please!
//Fredrik

You don't NEED to upgrade the Intercooler, the s3 is good to 400bhp.
As well as the CTS and VF intakes you could opt to cut into your existing intake and fit a forge 3" MAF housing. This is what I have on my Golf R....it is an Evoms intake mated to the forge MAF housing.

Hi!
Where do I find the 3" maf housing?
Is it true that my intake is crap, like my giac dealer says?! Should I but a forge twin intake instead?
Can I get the extreme map from England instead?
My trust for my local giac is now gone!!
