Yikes!

Mine gets done every 20k - yours could possbily just be a bit down on fluid.

Blimey, that must work out expensive for you! How much do your garage charge you for the job?

I track the car, so it gets over-serviced, so to speak. Think it was around the £200 mark.

Blimey, that sounds expensive. Eurocanterbury have quoted me £130 inc VAT for the oil/filter change for the DSG box!

Interesting.... the parts alone are near £100 and it's quite a lengthy process.

Looks like I've got myself a bargain then!

I did check with the guy on the phone twice that it was £310 inc VAT and he said "Yes"!

Maybe they'll do the normal "did you know your car needs X doing to it which will cost you only £1000.? Would you like us to do it whilst it's in bits Sir?"

Have they done one before? Do they think it's just a 'drop the oil and re-fill it' job, hence the price??

I'll dig my bill out to double check.

I've only had the car 2 weeks. The previous owner hadnt done the oil/filter change when it was due at 40k, hence the reason why I'm doing it now at 51k!
I'm hoping it's just running rough because it's low on oil!

I had my car at the dealers to today to investigate the jerky changes in manual mode, there engineer took it for a drive and said he didnt notice anything serious.
He called me after to tell this and thought it would be best to carry out DSG reset and monitor over next week. After a quick drive home it does feel a lot better, hopefully not a placebo effect, i guess time will tell!

Roll on next month for cam belt change and service!! :surprised:
