Found a lovely white gti that I'm interested in, cat d but was a stolen/recovered with no damage.

I wouldn't touch any cat car but that's me id be worried when it came to sell it.

Whilst I would love to update your handle with a white gloss background   there is something fishy about it. The centre dash is wrong for a GTI - there is no top vent and it only has the normal heater knobs not the climate which means it isn't uk spec or it has been repaired incorrectly

Personally I would steer clear mate - however tempting it is

Need to find out about the CAT D, some insurers may refuse and it will put off buyers.

Spec advertised is for another VW and appears limited.

Mileage may be suspect.

The rear bumper has been color coded, perhaps there are other mods.

Is it overpriced?

I think what Jay is saying is that based on the two threads above the car was most certainly a proper right off so best to avoid

Thought it was this car as regi rung a bell but put it in to google and nothing came up im pretty sure I passed this car with fake plates on poor guy who had it stolen and obv badly damaged !!!!

I think the lad who owned it before it was nicked mentioned it was from Ireland, hence the climatic panel.
