DaveyCupra:
Hey guys,

Thanks to Dubtek for getting my Kit delivered  :congrats:, it arrived on Saturday and I fitted it last night.  Follow the link below to see the fitted pics.

The only issue I had was that after installation the car idled at 1500rpm and fell back to 850rpm constantly. I knew I had an air leak somewhere. It was the Blanking Cap supplied for the inlet manifold. It is crap to say the least  :fighting:. So I used some silicone hose and a blanking plug I had laying around and hey presto no more issue.

Out of interest did you have the eurojet pcv fix on before as the pressure from the clamping jubilee clip can sometimes distort that nice circular plastic outlet, leading to the bsh blanking cap not sealing properly.

DaveyCupra:
No mate, I had the silicone hose on before in the pics and had just tryed to vent to atmosphere using a homemade pipe but the fumes were horrendous with the heater on or the aircon

That could be the reason why my cap had fittment issues. Cheers  :drinking:
