Collinite 476s is all I ever use on my car (for the most part) and it lasted from late August till early January before I needed to top it up.
However I try to wax it at least once a month, because I enjoy it and I like the beading to be strong. But I do a lot of tests on my car using different products and samples, one month I may have carpro Reload on one panel, Meguiars on another, etc.
I'm going to be using CQUK soon as this is probably an ideal coating for me and what I want. It's sat in my drawer unfortunately until I've had some more paintwork on the car!
otherwise it gets covered in overspray - Plus it actually adds hardness to the paint and in effect another layer of lacquer (even though it's not lacquer, it's the easiest way to explain) so brings about a darkening effect (and thereby increasing contrast and thus the appearance of shine!)
A friend recently completed a heavy enhancement detail on a Nissan GTR using Cquartz Finest. The difference before and after the coating seeing it in the flesh was noticeable, however the true quality of the paint came from the polishing. No amount of waxing/sealing would improve the finish without first correcting the paintwork - waxes/sealants/coatings are not miracle products!
This is after the coating has gone is still hardening hence the Infrared lamps.
