Help with equipment. Nilfisk pressure washer question.
« on: February 11, 2014, 09:38:43 am »
Hi all. I know the thread has been done loads. I am happy that I want a nilfisk pressure washer. I don't want to spend loads and am looking to max £100. I have found this one and have a few questions.

1). There are loads of similar priced nilfisks available. Are some old stock and what do I look for.

2). Is the low pressure detergent bottle that this one comes with a snow foam lance. I am new to this as I always used buckets and hoses but thought I would have a go. So an expert advice on snow foaming would be good too please.

Anyway this is the one I found and it APPEARS to be a new model?

Not sure the link is working so here it is

Any help appreciated as I don't want to buy the wrong item as I look after my stuff will probably have it for a few years.

Found this one too. Seems the same with a different name but £15 cheaper. Help

I have had a nilfisk for the last couple of years, and I believe try still make it just a little different shape. Just go for one on your price range that has good power a like the 1400 in your pic.

Think mine is the c110 if that helps

In regards to snow foam the answer is nope, that bottle is a detergent bottle so will push that on the car but a proper show foam lance has a metal section on top and mixtures air in too - they are about £60. I also have a snow foam lance (eBay) with a nilfisk/alto connector - different to other brands so buy the right one. I use PH Neutral snow foam and think it works well, plus great to use

Try Autobrite direct or Mainz car care for your snow foam lance mate.

I bought a Nilfisk C110.3-5 from Argos a couple of years ago. Great little powerwasher and does the job nicely. At the time it was about £65/£70.
