I bought it from Darkside, together with an S3 short shift and their solid bracket bushings.

I wanna do mine but Oem from dark side is like £20 per l and we need 3.
red mk5 golf gti ks05 fak,ram air intake,3” downpipe/decat,dv+,bcs rev ll exhaust stage 1 remap.coilovers,whiteline rarb and depo projectors,
Edition 30 front splitter,r32/gti rear,r32 side skirts
Soon to be r tech stage 2

Is pricey stuff, more than Millers NT, but works much better. Was still getting slow and graunchy gear change from cold with Millers but that totally disappeared with the OEM oil.

Same price from a dealer, more if you go to Audi - around £23 a litre I think

Do it once and do it properly - one off cost. You scrimp on oil and you'll regret it as many have done before now

Aftermarket oils are all at least twice as thick at 40 deg C compared to OEM.

Every comment I’ve ever read about said oils is always “Great when warmed up”, which basically means it crap everywhere else.

It’s the same with Hondas, but they just get on with it and put the OEM stuff in. The VAG scene seem to just whine about the price of everything and think VAG have some kind of sinister plot to swindle people.  It is what it is and costs what it costs. If MK5 GTI maintenance isn’t affordable, there’s a simple answer for that.
