What des it actually do mate?

It's a PCV check valve made out of billeted aluminium with hoses that stop the usual leakage of the original pcv valve.

After I installed it, my petrol consumption went up by about 2mpg. In the worse case secenario, with a complete failure of the oem pcv valve, you will see oil coming out from under your oil filler cap.

Hmm changed my valve not so long ago as you can see wasnt in good shape -

The oem PCV valve is completely different in form and function.
