RNS 510's on ebay - is this a good deal?
« on: February 18, 2014, 11:56:00 am »
Hi guys after an RNS 510 for my Mk5 GTI.

I have seen on ebay companies/sellers selling used version H's & P's  for around £500 delivered with 6 months warranty including the code and GPS antenna.

Is this a good deal i am wondering?

Cheers

Since it has the warranty, it seems a not bad deal - I got a P version (that looks unused) for £475 delivered, complete with code and GPS antenna. Noticed shortly afterwards that a P version sold for £410, but was in Ireland so postage would have been a bit dearer.

I Paid £450 for a Version P from a dealer off ebay a couple of months ago,  Looks as good as new and works great, V9 maps and video in motion. I have just installed the speed camera data base myself which was really easy. The guy was only 25 miles from me I went to his house and fitted it on his drive... I couldn't fault him he seemed a nice enough fella and very helpful. Not all sellers on ebay are crooks you just have to choose who you buy from carefully.. collect and fit it is the best way saves any hassle if the thing doesn't work if posted.
