Threads i've looked at, or posted in
« on: February 17, 2014, 03:59:32 pm »
When the new site get up and running, is there/could there be a button to find content i might have looked at in last 24 hours but has now disappeared as no one else has posted in it.

also to find what I've posted in is quite a faff, go to my profile scroll to bottom click last posts, could it not just be a pop up where my user name is at the top of the screen?

cheers for reading

Si

Why not use the "show new replies to your posts" button on the top right..
Any thread you post in will be added here...when someone else replies it will then appear under there.

I think to do a "viewed history" would be a faff, if it was even possible, I don't know any forum which does that unfortunately. Plenty (all infact) do a post history but not a view.  :happy2:

i'm not criticizing but R32OC under " show new content lets you see all this"

Content I have not read
New since my last visit
Past 24 hours
Past week
Past 2 weeks
Past month
Past 6 months
Past year
Other
Just items I follow
Items I participated in
Items I started
Filter by forum

here is a small scenario i've looked at something on my phone that i can answer, but i need to cross reference ETKA or something on laptop, so now i'm suck as ive now read the thread it don't show in the "unread posts since last visit" so if no one else posts on there thread to use "new replies to your posts" its lost forever and lets be honest searching on any forum is a joke.

would just be good if you could see all content for last 24 hours read or unread

admittedly if i go to the main page and use "View the most recent posts on the forum" this is ok but i don't need to see ever post i just want to see threads, sorry if it sounds like i'm being picky but navigating round this forum is sometimes tricky.

cheers
