I'm sure Revo Karl and Kev and reading this thread with interest. Who's to say revo aren't planning further tweaks to the stage 2+ code in the same spirit of continual improvement ?

I've already asked this question on seatcupra.net and was told no. Kev actually made a sly dig at "other" software developers saying not to believe the hype. Evan of APR questioned it but got no reply.

I mentioned in my first post that you rubbished, re driveability in the lower gears correct.  Once your up to speed and in higher gears its not so much an issue.  Now I am not a traffic light racer,  but these cars are hard to get off the line with big power and smoother mapping will help this.  People want WALK and Dogbones, mounts etc to help with launch (and hop), so its not just me who might want to shoe it away every so often

Why would you want a car with massive power that you cant get off the line if you really want to anyway ?

Any grievances I had were with your first response, not your opinion.  As you so obviously showed with mine.  I actually 'accept' others opinions   :wink:

end of the day everyone sticks up for there tuner 99% of the time, theres plenty of bad reviews on apr and plenty on revo.. suprisingly alot of the us members on golfmkv dont like apr though

TT forum is mainly APR follow by Mrc and shark. VW vortex mainly APR and GIAC.

Revo seem to be the flavour of the month with the ford guys, but then it was a pretty open market ready for the taking. Whether their maps are great on the focus rs I don't know, they melted my mates focus rs engine so he stopped using them, and my other mate with a 700hp focus RS sticks with jamsport.

As for jonny he stopped using Revo after his TTRS engine was melted.

I stopped using them because I was sick of being told "it's not the software it's the car" and limp mode issues on the RS.

whats your thoughts on mrc? there local to me and possibly another option for me in the future

Do you run a business to lose money? Their kit is proven to over 70k miles, the other big turbo kits out there with tubular manifolds usually need replacing after 15-20k. What APR provide is like a OEM solution, fit and forget, and that comes at a premium.

I'm not talking about the price of the kit, i'm talking about underhand tactics which they seem quite pro active in!
