Fog light grill.
« on: February 22, 2014, 08:39:05 am »
Over the last few days I've seen a couple of photos of mk5 golf gti,and gt,s without hole in the grills for lights.
Anybody know where I can get some from. Tried eBay already.
Cheers sean

I think some of the Jetta's and Golf Variant's came without foglights so had this type of grill. Maybe they were those.

The estate is the what I called the variant. Just what VW call it. I have seen the ones you mean. Would have thought they'd fit though.

Have a look here at item 10. I think the ones you are after are part number 1K0853665G (left) and 1K0853666J (right). Googled the number see what you can find.

Provided that those are the grilles you're looking for, I have a spare genuine set in great condition I'm willing to part with for £20 delivered
They're the same as the ones on the car pictured below, feel free to give me a message if you're interested :happy2:

I got the GT version of the non foglight cover, couldn't be bothered to wire the foglights on mine so just blanked it off.

Part numbers for those are: 1K0 853 666 Q9 B9 & 1K0 853 665 AB 9B for your reference.
